A collectective of doers and artists that want to create a collaborative art space to share with others. Creating together and experiencing multi-sensory art that inspires connection and growth. In 2021, at the renegade burn,  the team was inspired to start their own theme camp at burning man in 2022. 

Team GALGO started creating, building, and brainstorming inspiring, interactive art, or smart art as the team calls it. Shelly or VuPu (Vudoo Pussa) was a long time burner, 12 total with 2022. Her experience with build week at large and small camps, as well as having her own art car, landed her the position of camp lead. The team applied for placement in 2022 while they continued to build and obtain tickets for the burn. As a team they manifested and built regardless of the outcome, they wanted to share their vision with others. They received the acceptance letter and exploded in excitement and inspiration and went into hyper mode, CAUSE SHIT GOT REAL!!!

The first year was a huge success and we look forward to many future burns, regional events and more. We want to share our ‘smart-art’ with others and create unique experiences in life.

Team GALGO is founded by flow troupe Up In Smoke, so they also offer flow classes and performance off and on playa. Director of camp, VuPu is a fusion dancer, as well as other campmates, so dance and movement class are also part of the experience at camp Gotalotgoinon. 

Camp is part of the sustainability movement and runs their camp almost exclusively on solar and battery storage. They decrease the number of vehicles, to and from the burn, by carpooling and sharing hauling. They hope to store camp art closer to Black Rock city in future years as camp grows and to decrease their carbon footprint in the future. GALGO also coordinates multiple activities off playa to offset their carbon footprint before, during and after Burning Man. The wildflower shaker bike ride and The topsoil and compost outreach activities and events with the local community.  The sustainability of our planet and Burning man are extremely important to our camp goals.
